Cancellation and Refund Policy

BLUE HEAVEN TRAVEL – CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Effective Date: April 09, 2026 | Version 1.3
 
1. General Scope
All bookings secured through Blue Heaven Travel are subject to this Cancellation & Refund Policy, as well as the specific terms and conditions of the travel supplier(s) (airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, etc.). By confirming a reservation or submitting payment, clients and booking partners acknowledge and agree to these terms.
 
2. Cancellation Windows & Fees
Cancellation fees are tiered based on the date the written cancellation request is received, relative to the departure or check-in date. Exact penalties vary by supplier and fare type, and will be clearly outlined in your booking confirmation. As a general guideline: • 90+ days prior: Minimal or no cancellation fee (subject to supplier policy)
60–89 days prior: 25–50% of total booking value
30–59 days prior: 50–75% of total booking value
<30 days or No-Show: 100% non-refundable
Promotional, discounted, or non-refundable rates may carry stricter penalties. Airline tickets are typically non-refundable unless specifically booked as refundable fares.
 
3. Refund Processing & Timelines
All refunds are processed only after Blue Heaven Travel receives written confirmation and funds from the applicable supplier(s). Once approved, refunds are issued to the original form of payment within 14–30 business days. Administrative or processing fees may apply where legally permitted. Partial refunds, if any, will be calculated after deducting all non-recoverable supplier charges, taxes, and agency service fees.
 
4. Supplier & Third-Party Dependencies
Blue Heaven Travel acts as an authorized booking agent and does not set or control supplier cancellation policies. Refund eligibility, amounts, and timelines are ultimately determined by the airline, hotel, cruise line, or tour operator. We will promptly submit cancellation requests on your behalf and advocate for favorable terms, but cannot guarantee refunds beyond what the supplier permits.
 
5. Compassionate & Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unforeseen life events may require trip cancellation. Requests due to bereavement, serious illness, or family emergencies are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Clients must provide supporting documentation (e.g., death certificate, physician’s note) within 7 days of cancellation. While supplier policies generally apply, we will formally petition for fee waivers, travel credits, or partial refunds where possible. Approval remains at the sole discretion of the supplier.
 
6. Travel Insurance Recommendation
Given the variable and often strict nature of cancellation policies, Blue Heaven Travel strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and unforeseen events is the only reliable protection for non-refundable travel expenses.
 
7. Amendments vs. Cancellations
Changes to travel dates, names, or itineraries are treated as modifications, not cancellations, and may incur change fees, fare differences, or supplier penalties. All amendment requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability and supplier approval.
 
8. Force Majeure & Supplier Default
In events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, pandemics, government travel bans, war, or supplier insolvency), Blue Heaven Travel will coordinate with suppliers to secure travel credits, rebookings, or refunds per supplier policy. We do not assume liability for third-party service failures or force majeure disruptions.
 
9. How to Cancel
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to [cancellations@blueheaven.travel] with the booking reference, passenger name(s), and reason for cancellation. Verbal requests cannot be processed. A cancellation confirmation will be issued once the request is logged and forwarded to the supplier.
