Tour Description
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Aswan in an air-conditioned coach. Accompanied by a guide, you will be taken to the Kom Ombo temple, located on the river Nile about 50 kilometres north of Aswan. Take a boat ride on the Nile to arrive at the temple site. Built during the Greco-Roman era, Kom Ombo is home to an unusual double temple. The temple on the right is dedicated to the crocodile god, Sobek, while the temple on the left was in honor of Haroeris. Each temple has its own entrance, court, halls, and sanctuary. The temple is believed to change colors as the sunsets. After exploring the archaeological site, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Aswan
