Itinerary
Pick you up from your hotel in Aswan and marvel at the ancient Egyptian architecture of the Kom Ombo Temple. Appreciate the views from the boat as you approach the Kom Ombo Temple, perched on a high dune overlooking the Nile. See the temple of the crocodile-headed god, Sobek, and the Temple of Haroeris.
Admire Kom Ombo’s magnificent construction – the court with a columned porch and central altar, the columns embossed with icons of lotus and papyrus symbolizing the ‘two lands of Egypt. You’ll come across images of the king leaving the palace with his subjects, the purification of the king, and many other similar images on the ceiling. Transfer you back to Aswan.
