Itinerary
Pick up at the hotel and drive via air-conditioned modern private vehicle to Alexandria. In the Pearl of the Mediterranean Sea, you will see Qaitbey Citadel, the Bibliotheca Alexandria from the outside, and Pompey’s Pillar, have lunch and go on with the visits of the famous Catacombs of Kom Wl Shoqqafa, these tombs were tunneled into the bedrock in the 2nd century A.D. for a single wealthy family still practicing the ancient Egyptian religion. As a privately financed project, it is an engineering feat of some magnitude. A lunch break will be at a local restaurant. Move on to Pompey’s pillar, and the beautiful Montazah Palace Gardens facing the Mediterranean Sea. Drive back to Cairo. Back to the hotel.
